Delete some of your data

You can remove selected PuttNotes games, notes or photos while keeping your account. PuttNotes is provided by Silk City Labs LLC.

Delete a saved round

1. Open Memories in PuttNotes and select the round.
2. Under More options, choose Delete memory.
3. Review the confirmation and choose Delete. This removes the round, including its scores and memory, rather than deleting your account.

Remove a note or round photo

1. Open the saved memory and choose Edit.
2. Clear the note or choose Remove photo.
3. Choose Save memory to keep the change. The round and its scores remain.

To remove your separate account profile photo, open Account and choose Remove photo. Removing someone from Crew leaves their names and scores in past round snapshots; delete those rounds separately if you want to remove the snapshots.

Request help without deleting your account

Email support@silkcitylabs.com with the subject “PuttNotes partial data deletion”. You do not need the app installed to send a request.

1. Say that you want to keep your account and delete selected data.
2. Give the email address linked to your account and identify the rounds, notes or photos you want removed, using dates or labels where helpful.
3. We may ask you to verify ownership and clarify the requested data before making changes. Do not send a password or sign-in code.

Opening this page or an email link does not submit a request or delete anything. Send the email to request help. Guest-only data stays on your device, so support cannot remotely remove it.

What is removed and what can remain

Selected deletions take effect in local history when you save or confirm them. For signed-in games, the changes reach cloud history on the next successful sync. Your account, sign-in, other games and crew stay unless you request their removal.

A cloud round photo no longer referenced by any saved round becomes eligible for cleanup after a grace period of at least 24 hours following the accepted reference change. Cleanup runs periodically and can take longer. A photo still used by another round remains until those references are removed. Account profile photos are managed separately by Clerk; this round-photo grace period does not promise a deletion time for them.

Other devices can retain an offline copy until they reconnect. Device backups and copies shared outside PuttNotes can remain. Technical and support records are kept as needed to resolve issues, protect the service and meet legal obligations; this request does not automatically erase every provider record.
