Privacy policy

Play without an account

Guest player names, scores, course labels, notes and selected photos are saved on your device. You can keep score offline. Your device’s backup settings may include app data.

Optional accounts and backups

Clerk handles sign-in with Apple or email. It processes your account identifier, email, profile details and optional account photo. Convex stores and synchronizes your account’s crew, rounds, scores, course labels, notes and round photos.

Signing in backs up eligible guest games and crew from that device. After a confirmed backup, unchanged guest copies move out of the guest collection. Account games also stay cached on your device for offline use.

Photos and sharing

You choose photos through your device’s picker or camera. Guest photos stay on your device; signed-in round photos are backed up when connected. Anyone with a live score link can see that round’s player names and scores until you revoke it. An exported memory includes the photo, names, scores and note you choose to share. Apps you send it to handle their copy under their own policies.

Course search and location

Course searches are sent to Mapbox with the search text and a temporary search-session identifier. If you choose Use my location, your foreground location is sent to Mapbox to find nearby courses. Mini Golf does not track your background location. Search results and coordinates are not saved in your game history; your course label and selected course identifier may be saved with a round.

Technical information and support

Sentry receives error and crash reports, including app version, device and operating-system details, and diagnostic stack traces. We do not attach your games or photos or record your screen. Our hosting and service providers also process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to operate and protect their services. If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you send.

How we use information

We use information to provide scoring, backups, sharing, account access and course search, respond to support requests, fix errors and protect the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising tracking. We share information with service providers for these functions and when required by law.

Retention and deletion

Saved account data remains until you delete it or your account. Deleting a round removes it locally and from synced history on the next successful sync. Unused cloud round photos are removed after a grace period of at least 24 hours.

Delete account in the app permanently removes your sign-in, backed-up crew, rounds and photos. Shared links stop working. We retain a minimal deletion record to prevent old sessions from restoring deleted data. Separate guest games, device backups and copies shared outside Mini Golf can remain. Other devices may retain an offline copy until they reconnect.

You can also request account deletion by email. We may verify your identity before completing a request. Contact support to request access to or correction of your account information. Technical and support records are kept as needed to resolve issues, protect the service and meet legal obligations.

Family use

An adult can keep a family scorecard using nicknames. Children do not need their own account to be included in a round. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed, contact support.

Service providers and changes

Our providers include Clerk, Convex, Mapbox, Sentry and Vercel. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.
